This book has been on my mind and I’m not even sure why. I’ve read a lot about the history of the writer and the story itself but have never owned a copy myself. Today, at the book sale, I was sifting through dozens of books and before I knew it I stumbled upon this gorgeous novella. Odd how it had been on my mind and before I knew it, it was before my eyes! I snatched it up without a second thought. The book was written for children but it is an excellent story for all ages. It’s short and sweet.
